23C3601 SR-14 Sanitary Sewer Force Main Relocation #19022

Sealed bids for the SR-14 SANITARY SEWER FORCE MAIN RELOCATION, PROJECT NO. 23C3601 will be received by The TOWN OF COOSADA, at the COOSADA TOWN HALL, until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2025, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.

Principal items of work include 5,886 LF of 6” PVC Force Main, 342 LF of 12” Steel Casing (Jack & Bore), and related appurtenances.

Plans and specifications may be viewed and examined at the Town of Coosada Town Hall, 5800 Coosada Rd, Coosada, Alabama 36020 at the office of Civil Southeast, LLC., 1831 East Three Notch Street, Andalusia, Alabama 36421.

Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the Civil Southeast digital plan room at www.civilseplanroom.com . Purchase of bid documents is required to be added to the official plan holders list. Civil Southeast is not responsible for 3rd party document distribution. Bid documents are on file at the City Hall, Atmore, Alabama. No bid documents will be distributed later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.

Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (maximum of $10,000) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to The Town of Coosada. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond.

Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1985, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.

All bids SHALL be submitted in the Contract Specifications Book as issued by the Engineer. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, Bidder’s license number, license expiration date, category, address, and name of the project. Envelopes containing bids must be addressed as follows, and delivered to Mayor Jim Houston, The Town of Coosada, 5800 Coosada Rd., Coosada, AL 36020: SR-14 Sanitary Sewer Force Main Relocation, Project No. 23C3601.
