The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority ("JMAA") is seeking bids for construction and related services in connection with the RUNWAY 16L/34R SAFETY AREA IMPROVEMENTS at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (the "Work").

Scope of Work

The Project consists of grading areas to improve drainage of the runway and taxiway safety areas surfaces and minor repairs to stormwater infrastructure. Sealed bids to perform the Work will be accepted by JMAA until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 (the "Bid Deadline"). electronically, by mail, or by hand delivery as follows:

JMAA will publicly open and read all bids on Tuesday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST) (the "Bid Opening) in the Staff Conference Room, Third Floor of the Main Terminal Building at JMAA. JMAA invites Bidders and their authorized representatives to attend the Bid Opening.

Questions and communications regarding this project should be directed to the engineer and to Lance Fulcher, Director of Procurement, lfulcher@jmaa.com. Questions received after 2 p.m. CST on May 28, 2025, may not be answered. Only questions answered by the addenda will be binding.

The following identification information must be provided with the submission: f) bidder's company name; (ii) Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility Number; and (iii) the wording:

RUNWAY 16L/34R SAFETY AREA IMPROVEMENTS at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, Project No. CIP 006-25. If the submission is submitted electronically, the identification information must be provided. If the submission is submitted by hand delivery or mail, then the identification information must be marked on the outside or exterior of the bid envelope or container. JMAA will not consider any submissions, including bid proposals, amendments to bids, or requests for withdrawal of bids received after the Bid Deadline for any reason whatsoever. JMAA will award the Work to the lowest successful bidder as determined by JMAA per the criteria outlined in the bid packet.

JMAA will hold a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 1:30 pm (CST) in the Staff Conference Room, Third Floor of the Main Terminal Building at JMAA.

JMAA reserves the right to amend the plans and specifications for the Work by Addendum issued before the Bid Deadline, reject any and all bids, and waive technicalities in the bid proposals. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in Article 3.01 of the Bid Form to verify receipt. JMAA has established a Disadvantage Business Enterprises participation goal of 17.91% for the Work solicited by this RFB.
