CS221.027 Kipling Water Association - Water Line Extension to Fatty Leggett Road #13259

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Line Extension to Fatty Leggett Road will be received by

the President Members of the Board of the Kipling Water Association, at the offices of East Mississippi

Electric Power Association located at 100 Veterans Drive, Dekalb, MS 39328 until April 28, 2023 at

10:00 a.m., at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of

constructing Water Line Extension to Fatty Leggett Road.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive and/or

deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Calvert-Spradling Engineers, Inc.; 7085 Highway 45

North Alternate, P.O. Drawer 1078, West Point, MS 39773. Prospective Bidders may examine the

Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours, and

may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bid documents are being made available electronically and via original paper copy (if requested). Plan

holders are required to register for an account at www.neel-schafferplans.com to view and order Bid

Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Electronic bids

shall be submitted through www.neel-schafferplans.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must

be purchased through the website. Please contact Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193 with questions

regarding website registration and online orders.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. local time on April 20, 2023 at the

intersection of Highway 39 and Fatty Leggett Road. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is NOT

mandatory. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are

encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders

of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the

conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
